The Law Enforcement Division of the Cecil County Sheriff's Office has 82 sworn positions and nine support staff employees. The Division has a Patrol Section, Criminal Investigation Unit, Sexual Offender Unit, K-9 Unit, School Resource Unit, Court Security Unit, Civil Process Unit, and is a member of the Cecil County's Drug Task Force.
The Division provides full law enforcement services including enforcing both motor vehicle and criminal laws, serving warrants and civil process papers, responding to routine and emergency calls, and investigating criminal and drug violations.
