 CORRECTIONAL OFFICER

Cecil County Sheriff's Office - Detention Center seeks Correctional Officers with a starting rate of $16.29 per hour ($33,883/year) with promotion available 14 months after hire. $500 Sign-On Bonus*

Duties: Include, but are not limited to, supervising daily operations and activities of the inmates at the detention center from their assigned post, monitor conformance to facility rules and regulations and protect inmates from harm and violence.  See our employment page for more information.
 
Position Requirements: High School diploma or GED; must be 18 years of age; valid drivers' license with no more than 5 points on driving record; ability to work various shifts as well as overtime without advance notice; and pass a thorough background investigation. Paid training and uniforms provided. No prior corrections experience necessary.

DEPUTY

Cecil County Sheriff's Office - To fill Deputy positions with a starting rate of $40,560.00 a year.
