On behalf of the men and women of the Cecil County Sheriff's Office, I would like to welcome you to our official web page. Our office was established in 1684 is dedicated to providing the highest level of professional law enforcement, court and correctional services to our citizens.
We recognize the importance of "working together" within our agency as well as with other agencies for the good of the community. I have always placed a strong emphasis on being an approachable, working Sheriff. I will continue to make myself and my personnel available to the citizens of the County, and will do everything possible to assure prompt responses to any concerns, questions or suggestions. |

As a division of the Sheriff’s Office, the Detention Center’s mission is to provide a clean, safe and secure place of confinement for persons committed or adjudicated to our facility by proper authority of law. |
The Community Corrections Center is a 64 bed facility which houses male and female offenders. Custody level is minimum security. The facility serves the courts as a sentencing alternative to confinement in the Detention Center. |
